Life. You love it, don't you. Living forever, never dying, it's a dream...a
dream you would wish for. Go ahead! Wish for it! Maybe your wish will come
true...and you'll never die...You'd love that, wouldn't you? You poor
deluded...[Violent Coughing] poor deluded fool. I can tell you how...how
to live forever, if you really want it. But then you'll never know how to
die. And after the first hundred years or so, boy will you want to die.
Look at me! I will be like this forever! Nothing but a walking corpse with
a deteriorating mind. As I get older, I forget more and more...the human
body, the human mind, humans were not meant to live forever. That's the
only piece of wisdom that has withstood time, my deteriorating mind. It's
there to mock me, I know it...a cruel joke. Like my speech. That I still
have the facility for it is amazing, considering everything. Death is a
gift. You still want to cheat it? So you think your mind is more powerful
than mine? That it will not disintegrate? That you'll remain mentally
potent forever? You imbecile! Did you listen to a word I said? People are
stupid, no matter what the age. You think to have your mental prowess rise
to infinite heights, even after seeing what has happened to me. Think for
a second! Use that mind of yours! The human mind is not eternal! Only the
soul is, however it is hampered by the body that contains it. If you never
die, you never free your spirit from the fragile entity that contains it,
limits it. So you still don't believe me, do you? It's your loss. I'll
make you eternal...and continue the cycle. Soon you'll find someone
foolish enough for you to pass it on to when you find out the truth about
immortality, and you have gone through much pain that could have been
averted had you simply listened...I have warned you, however much that is
worth. If you are still intent on this foolish path, take my hand...and
prepare to embark on the worst decision of your immortal life. By freeing
me, you have made yourself a slave to the hell that is life.
